Fundación Cruzando

Fundación Cruzando is a Chilean educational organisation based in Santiago. Since the very beginning of LearningML, both organisations have worked together to bring Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to teachers and students across Chile and Latin America.

Their mission: making technology accessible, ethical, and creative for everyone.

A partnership from day one

Fundación Cruzando is one of LearningML’s original collaborators. From the earliest days of the project, they have been a key supporter: spreading the platform, promoting teacher training courses with LearningML, and providing the resources needed to develop the LearningML Desktop version.

Rodrigo Fábregas and his team have been instrumental in bringing LearningML to more Spanish-speaking schools, combining Scratch’s creative approach with Artificial Intelligence capabilities, always keeping people and ethics at the centre.

Joint programmes with LearningML

Young Programmers BiblioRedes

One of the flagship initiatives of the collaboration is Jóvenes Programadores BiblioRedes, a programme in which students across Chile learn to build Machine Learning models using LearningML. The programme brings AI into educational communities of all backgrounds, making these technologies accessible to children and young people throughout the country.

Teacher training

Fundación Cruzando organises courses and workshops for educators using LearningML, with the participation of Juan David Rodríguez García, the creator of the platform. These sessions help teachers incorporate AI into their classrooms in a meaningful and pedagogically sound way.

Research and outreach

The foundation also works on the promotion and research of LearningML in the Latin American context, contributing to the platform reaching more schools and ensuring its impact is measured and shared with the international educational community.
